Our goals are to:
- establish life cycle inventory modules for nanoparticles (e.g. carbon nanofibers or nanoclays) and thereby perform an environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of polymer nanocomposites products;
- create a predictive model of toxicological effects of nanoparticles based on thermodynamic properties; and
- create a framework for risk assessment of nanotechnology.
This testbed relies on integration with all core technologies.
