Our 
goal is to develop a series of cell-based devices and constructs for:
- drug/gene testing;
- cytotoxicity assay;
- cell-microenvironment interactions;
- tissue regeneration; and
- cell therapy.
This testbed relies on integration with the Nanofiber Synthesis, Micro-/Nanofabrication, Micro-/Nanofluidics,
and Super-/Subcritical Fluids core technology platforms. Additionally, the Drug/Gene Delivery Testbed and the Biosensor/-Chips Testbed
will benefit by gaining cell-based biosensors and 3D tissue models for drug/gene delivery testing.
